50 Concerto Posters
Swiss designer Josef Müller-Brockmann remains one of the most well-known designers of his period. His concert posters, most of which he created in the 1950s, exploit geometry and abstraction to communicate the movements and feel of the music. For this project, I designed fifty new iterations of a Tonhalle poster using only the same colors and shapes from the original poster.
As a final presentation I animated the fifty iterations to one of the pieces listed on the original poster: Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-Flat Minor, Op. 23. To view all 50 iterations you can scroll down, or you can visit here.
